Has anyone heard about the human 3rd Eye actually being in the GUT rather than between the eyes? I was alarmed to find this out from a Reiki master. I am trying to find information on this. I thought someone might want to jot this idea down towards further research.

I would not pay too much attention to that Reiki "master". Maybe you can find something related with the "third eye" if you search for info on the pineal gland.

The 3rd "eye" in regards to the solar plexis is known as "ki" in oriental circles. A place where psychic energy can be stored and released.
The pineal gland is located in the mid-brain and responsible for "interpetating" symbolic images beyond the 5 physical senses and into the 6th and much higher 7th levels of communications, (telepath)
It is not used often and requires much discipline to master, is activated when the 5 senses are no longer active. In cases of death, it connects to whom that person has strong emotional ties to and extends outward to 900,000 kilo meters.
